Border dressings
Border dressings combine an absorbent foam pad with a built-in silicone adhesive edge, so the dressing sticks down on its own without separate tape. The silicone border lifts cleanly at a dressing change and is kinder to fragile or ageing skin.
They suit wounds on awkward contours, the sacrum, heel, elbow or shin, where keeping a plain pad in place is a constant battle.
