Mepilex Border Post-Op is a waterproof, self-adherent soft silicone foam dressing from Molnlycke, made for covering surgical wounds. It is a sterile, latex-free dressing with a Safetac contact layer, the silicone surface that sits against the skin and is designed to lift away gently at dressing changes rather than pulling at the wound edge or surrounding skin.

The flexible foam pad follows body contours, including over wounds near joints such as hips and knees. The bordered, self-adherent edge holds the dressing in place without separate tape, and the waterproof film backing protects the wound from outside moisture.

This listing covers the non-silver Mepilex Border Post-Op. It does not contain silver or any antimicrobial agent, so it is a different product to the Mepilex Border Post-Op Ag in the Molnlycke range.
