Cancellation policy
This policy explains how to cancel a subscription or recurring purchase option if you set up one for goods you buy from Australian First Aid Distributions Pty Ltd (ACN 153 377 185, ABN 54 153 377 185), trading as First Aid Distributions. Read it alongside our Terms of service, Refund Policy, Shipping and Privacy Policy.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to purchase options that bill or order on a repeating basis, including subscriptions and recurring orders ("plans"). If you set up a plan at checkout, you agree to repeat orders at the frequency you chose, at the price shown for each delivery, until you cancel. It does not apply to one-off purchases, which are covered by our Refund Policy.
How to cancel
You can cancel a plan at any time. There are two ways to do it:
- Log in to your account on our website, open your subscriptions or plan, and select cancel.
- Contact us and ask us to cancel for you. Email info@firstaiddistributions.com.au or call 03 5443 2239, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm AEST. Please include the email address on your account and the plan you want to cancel.
Cancelling is at least as easy as signing up. You do not need to give a reason, you will not be charged a cancellation fee, and we will not put extra steps in your way. If you set up a plan online, you can cancel it online.
What happens when you cancel
To stop the next order, cancel before that order is processed. If you cancel after an order has already been processed for the current billing cycle, that order still goes ahead and will be delivered and charged as normal. Cancelling stops all future orders and charges on the plan. We do not charge for deliveries scheduled after your cancellation takes effect.
A charge that has already been made for goods you have received is not automatically refunded by cancelling. Refunds for those goods are handled under our Refund Policy and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Skipping or pausing a delivery
If your plan offers skip or pause, you can use these instead of cancelling. Log in to your account to skip your next delivery or pause the plan for a set time, then resume when you are ready. If you cannot see these options, contact us at info@firstaiddistributions.com.au or 03 5443 2239 and we will help. To make sure a change applies to your next order, make it before that order is processed.
Updating your payment or delivery details
Keep your card, billing and delivery details current so your orders are not interrupted. Log in to your account to update your payment method, delivery address or order frequency, or contact us and we will update them for you. Changes apply to orders processed after the change is saved.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Cancelling a plan does not affect your consumer rights. Goods supplied under a plan come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. These rights apply on top of anything in this policy.
