Zetuvit Plus Silicone Border (1)

Zetuvit Plus Silicone Border is a sterile, single-use super-absorbent dressing made by Hartmann, with a soft silicone contact layer and border, for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding acute and chronic wounds. It is used on adults only, by health professionals in clinical or homecare settings, and can be combined with local antiseptics and secondary dressings.

The self-adhesive silicone border holds the dressing in place without extra fixation and lifts gently from the surrounding skin at removal. A superabsorbent core draws in and locks away exudate (the fluid a wound gives off), while the showerproof backing film is breathable and acts as a bacterial and viral barrier.

Choosing a size

Choose a size so the central pad extends about 1 to 2cm beyond the wound edge, following Hartmann's guidance. Smaller sizes such as 10cm x 10cm suit small or shallow wounds, while 15cm x 25cm and 20cm x 25cm suit larger wounds or more awkward anatomy that needs more coverage and exudate capacity. If latex sensitivity is a concern, ask our team before ordering.
