The Laerdal Compact Suction Unit LCSU 4 is a portable suction device for clearing blocked airways in an emergency. Its one-hand-grip design keeps it light enough to carry to any scene, and it is stocked in-store with both 300 ml and 800 ml disposable canister systems. A variable vacuum regulator and LED suction display give precise control to clear an airway quickly when it matters.

The click-in-place disposable canister system removes the need for a separate vacuum tube, with a 300 ml canister for standard use and an 800 ml option when extra volume is required, and easy conversion between the two. The AC/DC-enabled, field-changeable NiMH battery pack gives up to 45 minutes of free-flow operation, and every canister uses an internal integrated filter system, with a high-efficiency filter kit on the 800 ml version and a HEPA-rated bacterial filter for added protection. The control panel carries a large vacuum regulator dial with an audible click, a battery level indicator and a children's vacuum range marked in blue, so it stays usable day or night. The LCSU 4 is latex-free and comes with a wire stand for stability on the 800 ml version and high-density carry bags for transport.
