Cica Care Silicone Gel Scar Dressing Sheet (1)

Managing a raised, red or older scar after surgery, a burn or an injury is what Cica-Care is made for. It is a self-adhesive silicone gel sheet that Smith & Nephew indicates for the management of hypertrophic and keloid scars, on both new and established scarring. Worn over the scar, the soft gel sheet is designed to hydrate and soften the area and help improve its appearance over a course of treatment.

The sheet is flexible, comfortable to wear under clothing and can be cleaned and reused over the treatment period, following the instructions for use. It is self-adhesive and easy to apply and remove. Treatment is gradual and is followed over weeks rather than days, so it suits a planned scar-management routine rather than acute wound care.

Stocked in two sizes, 12cm x 6cm and 12cm x 15cm, so the sheet can be matched to the scar or trimmed to fit.
