Three packs of one size in the pull-up format, sold as a one-off so a buyer can assess fit, absorbency and how the tear-away seams handle a real change before committing to carton or pallet volume. Sizes 3 to 6, covering 6 kg through 15 kg and above. The pants are identical to the ones sold by the carton.

What a pull-up pant needs to prove before a volume order

The questions that decide a reorder on a pant are different from the ones that decide a tape nappy. Whether the side panels hold their shape after a full day rather than sagging at the waist. Whether the seams tear cleanly with one hand when the other hand is occupied. Whether the pant goes on a standing, uncooperative toddler without a wrestle.

None of those are answerable from a single sample. Three packs covers roughly a fortnight for one child, which is long enough for the answers to settle.

What is in the Trial Pack

Size Weight range Pants in the Trial Pack Pack artwork
Size 3 6 to 11 kg 72 (3 packs of 24) Emu and wax flower
Size 4 9 to 14 kg 66 (3 packs of 22) Cockatoo and flowering gum

Size 6 15 kg+ 54 (3 packs of 18) Wombat and wattle

One-off purchase, no recurring billing and no automatic follow-up order. The pack illustrations are by Bendigo artist Kate Smith, painted by hand, with a different pairing on every size, which is what makes sizes tellable apart down a storeroom shelf.

Construction and materials

  • Side panels: 360° stretch in every direction
  • Side seams: tear-away on both sides, so a soiled pant comes off without being pulled over the legs
  • Anti-leak back pocket: a raised rear section that traps what would otherwise track up the back
  • Topsheet: non-woven fabric with added silk protein (SeriPro™) for a soft, smooth feel against skin
  • Core: MotionFlex™ ultra-thin absorbent core using Japanese superabsorbent polymer
  • Waistband: wide and soft, shaped to hold without digging in
  • Outer: breathable PE layer with the stretch panels integrated
  • Wetness indicator: a yellow line along the front turns blue

Certification of inputs. Pulp is FSC Mix certified, from a manufacturer holding FSC Chain of Custody certification. Inks are mineral-oil-free, low-VOC and RoHS-compliant, all SGS tested.

Free from. Latex, soy, fragrance and lotion.

Testing and certification

Dermatest® Skin Sensitive certified. Tested for PFAS, none detected (SGS). Made with no chlorine bleach (SGS verified).

Designed in Bendigo, Victoria, and premium Australian-owned. Manufacturing is offshore, in a factory certified to ISO 9001 with a scope covering baby nappies. The same facility also holds ISO 13485 certification, which describes the factory and not this product: these are nappy pants, not a medical device.

Eczema Association of Australasia partnership

Recognised by EAA for suitability on eczema-prone skin. This is a brand partnership and a suitability assessment, not an independent laboratory test, and it sits separately from the test results above for that reason.

The EAA logo represents a brand partnership and product suitability assessment only, and does not constitute endorsement of any type.

Ordering and delivery

Standard freight is $14.95 Australia-wide and express is $19.95, with freight free over $139. Assessing two sizes at once saves paying freight twice, which is the practical reason to order them together rather than in sequence. We aim to despatch in-stock orders placed before 1pm AEST the same business day, from the East Bendigo warehouse or the Sydney fulfilment centre.

Common questions

Which size should we assess first?

Take the weight band that covers most of the cohort and add the band above it. Size 3 and Size 4 together cover 6 kg to 14 kg. Sizes are set by weight rather than age and the bands overlap on purpose, so where a child sits in an overlap, sizing up is the safer default: slightly early beats slightly late. On pants, leaks read either way, too big or too small, so waistband marking and leg-cuff tightness are the signals to work from.

Are these training pants?

No. A training pant is generally a lower-absorbency product made for the toilet-training stage. These are full-absorbency disposable nappies in pull-up form. Services do use them through toilet training because the shape and the tear-away seams suit it, but they should not be specified as a reduced-absorbency product.

Can we assess tape nappies at the same time?

Yes, and for a mixed-age service it is worth doing. The tape nappy Trial Pack runs from 3 kg, and ordering both in one go means one freight charge rather than two.

Can we set up an account before the volume order?

Yes. Wholesale and account enquiries go through our agents and resellers page, or ring 03 5443 2239. The trade pricing published on that page covers the first aid range, so pricing on this one is quoted on enquiry. Little Puggles is our own brand rather than a line we resell, so continuity of supply on a standing order is ours to commit to.

What if we order the wrong size?

Our returns policy sets the terms. Ring 03 5443 2239 before sending anything back and we will sort the size swap on the same call.

Can you supply the certification documents for a tender?

Some can be released and some carry restrictions from the testing laboratory. Ring 03 5443 2239 or email info@firstaiddistributions.com.au with the requirement and we will confirm what we can put in writing.

Once the assessment is done, the full size run is at Little Puggles Nappy Pants, by the pack or the carton of six.
