Every Little Puggles Nappy Pant in your Trial Pack is built the same way. The design choices that matter for sensitive skin also make life easier on an active toddler. We make one pant, and we're proud of how it sits on your bub. Here's what you'll notice over the course of the three packs.

A back pocket that catches the surprises. Most pants are flat-backed, which is fine until the moment it isn't. Little Puggles Nappy Pants have a built-in anti-leak back pocket that catches the overnight surprises and the mid-sleep migration that tends to escape a standard pant.

A softer feel against baby's skin. Our topsheet has silk protein (SeriPro™) added to the non-woven fabric, which gives the surface a smoother, softer feel than a standard topsheet. Run your finger across it when you open the first pack. You'll notice the difference before the pant's even on.

Sides that move with baby. The 360° stretch side panels stretch in every direction, so the pant moves with your bub whether they're sitting, climbing, running, or rolling. No pinching, no sagging. Watch how the panels follow your bub through a kick, a roll, and a stretch. They do the work, you don't.

Tear-away sides for soiled changes. Both side seams can be torn open cleanly, so if your bub has a soiled pant you can remove it without pulling it over their legs. You'll appreciate this the first time you need it. Tear-away sides also make early toilet training easier when your bub is ready.

A core that's built for movement. The MotionFlex™ absorbent core is ultra-thin and built with high-absorbency technology. Less bulk between your bub's legs, more flex where they need it. You'll feel the difference in how the pant moves when your bub is walking or crawling.

A wide soft waistband. The waistband is shaped to hold the pant in place without digging in. Same fabric as the outer pant, just contoured.

Cuffs that hold without digging in. The gentle leg cuffs follow the crease where leg meets hip, not press against it. No red marks, no pinching.

A core that pulls wetness away fast. The rapid absorb layer wicks wetness into the absorbent core in seconds. Baby's skin stays drier between changes, which matters more for sensitive skin cohorts than for any other.

A wetness indicator you can see without opening. The yellow line along the front of the pant turns blue when it's time for a change.

A breathable outer layer. The outer fabric lets air circulate, which helps keep the nappy area cool and reduces the heat-and-moisture combination that tends to irritate sensitive skin.

Where your Trial Pack nappy pants come from.

The Little Puggles Nappy Pants in your Trial Pack are made to the same standard as every pant we ship. Worth understanding where they come from, because the skin-safety chain starts well before the pant reaches your bub.

The manufacturing facility. Little Puggles Nappy Pants are manufactured in a factory certified to four international standards: ISO 9001 (quality management, scope explicitly including baby nappies), ISO 13485 (medical device quality management, scope covering adult continence products), ISO 14001 (environmental management), and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety). We chose this manufacturer because the facility's quality standards extend beyond consumer nappies into clinical care.

The core technology. The absorbent core uses Japanese superabsorbent polymer (SAP) from Sumitomo Seika and SDP Global, both top-tier suppliers. SAP is the material that converts liquid into gel in the pant core; the quality of the SAP directly affects how well the pant keeps skin dry.

The topsheet. The topsheet is a non-woven fabric with silk protein (SeriPro™) added as a textile finish. The silk-protein layer gives the fabric a softer, smoother feel against baby's skin. It's added to the topsheet, not a replacement for the topsheet itself.

The outer layer. A breathable PE outer layer with 360° stretch side panels lets air circulate across the pant, which helps keep the area cool and dry.

The inks. Any printed ink on the pant or packaging is mineral-oil-free, low-VOC, and RoHS-compliant, all independently tested by SGS. This matters because ink residues on nappies are an underrecognised skin-irritation source in the category.

The pulp. The cellulose pulp in the core is FSC Mix certified under FSC Chain of Custody (ESTS-COC-250027), meaning the wood fibre is responsibly sourced.

What's not in the pant. Soy-free, latex-free, fragrance-free, lotion-free.

Is the Trial Pack the same pant as the subscription?

Yes, exactly the same. We don't make a "trial version" of our nappy pants. The Little Puggles Nappy Pants in your Trial Pack are the same silk-protein topsheet, 360° stretch sides, anti-leak back pocket, tear-away sides, and Dermatest® Skin Sensitive certified product we ship on subscription. The only thing that changes is how much you're committing to.

What's the difference between the Trial Pack and the one-off pack option on the main subscription page?

The Trial Pack is three packs of a single size at $49.95 with free shipping. The one-off option on the main page is a single pack at $18.95 (plus $9.95 shipping) or a full carton of six packs at $113.70 (plus $9.95 shipping). When should I switch from tape nappies to pants?

Most parents switch somewhere between six and twelve months, around the time baby starts to crawl and stand. Signs it's time: change time has become a wrestling match, your bub rolls or tries to stand during changes, or they're ready for early toilet training. There's no rule that says you have to switch, and plenty of parents use tape nappies right through to toilet training. Pants just tend to make life easier once your bub is on the move. Is the Trial Pack suitable for eczema-prone skin?

Can I use these pants as training pants?

Training pants usually refers to a product designed specifically for toilet training, often reusable and less absorbent than a nappy pant. Little Puggles Nappy Pants are a full-absorbency disposable nappy in pull-up form, not a dedicated training pant. That said, parents often use our nappy pants during toilet training because the pull-up design and tear-away sides make them convenient for the transition. Whether our pants work as training pants for your bub depends on where they are in the process.
