Premax Massage Lotion is an unscented, high glide lotion for hands-on treatment work, made in Australia and supplied in a 1 litre (1000mL) size. Premax describes it as skin conditioning, giving therapists feel and control, and leaving a clean, conditioned finish on the skin for athletes and clients.

Premax states the formula is purposely minimalistic and can be used on its own or combined with other Premax products or oils.

How to use it

Premax directs you to dispense 1 to 2 fingertips of lotion for small areas and 3 to 4 fingertips for medium or large areas. At the end of treatment only a very thin film should remain, wiped over with a towel.

Who it suits

Premax describes the lotion as being for therapists, athletes and clients. The 1 litre size suits clinics that work through a lot of lotion, and the unscented formula suits rooms where fragrance isn't wanted.

About the formulator

Premax states it was founded by Randall Cooper, B.Physio, M.Physio, FACP, a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists, who plays an active role in all its product development. Premax says he has spent over 20 years working with sporting organisations including the Australian Winter Olympic Team and Hawthorn Football Club.
