Exufiber Dressing 10cm x 10cm (1)

The Molnlycke Exufiber 10cm x 10cm is a gelling fibre dressing built for moderate to heavily exuding wounds. Made from modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibres rather than traditional gelling fibres, it absorbs wound fluid and turns into a gel that holds together on the wound. That cohesion means it can be lifted away in one piece, which helps keep dressing changes simpler.

Exufiber uses Molnlycke's Hydrolock Technology to manage exudate. The hydrophilic fibres draw in, absorb and lock fluid into the dressing, and hold it there even under compression. Fluid moves both vertically and laterally through the dressing, so its full absorption capacity is put to use and the surrounding skin is better protected from the moisture that leads to maceration.

Molnlycke lists Exufiber for moderate to heavily exuding wounds, including pressure injuries, leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers, partial-thickness burns, surgical wounds and donor sites. Always read and follow the instructions for use, and if symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.
