Urgotul Contact Layer Non Adhesive Dressing (1)

Urgotul is a flexible, non-adherent contact layer for chronic, traumatic and acute wounds, and for burns at the granulation and re-epithelialisation stages. It sits directly against the wound bed, so newly formed tissue is not disturbed when the dressing is changed.

The dressing is built on Urgo's TLC (Technology Lipido-Colloid) matrix: a polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid particles (carboxymethylcellulose), petrolatum and polymers. In contact with wound exudate this forms a lipido-colloid layer that keeps the interface moist and lets the dressing lift away without sticking to the wound bed.
