Sam Pelvic Sling (1)

The SAM Pelvic Sling II is a force-controlled circumferential pelvic binder used to apply and hold stable compression across a suspected open-book pelvic ring fracture. It is built for prehospital and emergency department use, where fast, controlled stabilisation matters.

Its force-control buckle is designed to deliver a consistent, appropriate tension, so the binder is not over- or under-tightened when applied over the greater trochanters. The SAM Pelvic Sling II is a single-use device and is not intended for reuse. It is radiolucent and MRI safe, so it can stay in place during X-ray, CT and MRI imaging. The standard size fits 98% of the adult population.
