The Aero Healthcare AEROBURN polyethylene burn sheet is a sterile, single-use cover for burns, made from a polyethylene film with a low-adherent finish on one side. The manufacturer describes it as a sterile trauma covering used to help keep a burn patient stable on the way to a burn centre or hospital. It is a physical cover that sits over the burn, not a dressing that treats the injury.

The low-adherent side faces the burn so the sheet lifts away with less pulling at the skin when it is removed. The film folds down small for a kit and can be cut to size, so one box covers small burns through to larger areas. It is supplied sterile and is meant to be used once and then discarded.
