Ortho Rhiza Thumb Support - OrthoBrace

The OrthoBrace Rhiza is a thumb support brace with a mouldable aluminium splint, made for people managing thumb pain from arthritis, tendon strain or post-operative recovery. It holds the main thumb joint still while staying soft against the skin, built from breathable velour with air holes for comfort during longer wear.

Adjustable aluminium supports run along the back and palm side of the thumb and wrap around the base of the thumb bone. This holds the main knuckle joint of the thumb (the MCP joint) still and gives moderate support to the joint at the base of the thumb (the carpometacarpal, or CMC, joint). It fits either thumb and comes in regular or large.

The brace is made from soft, breathable velour with air holes and an inbuilt mouldable aluminium splint. It comes in two sizes: regular suits most adults, and large suits a broader hand or thumb.
