Non Woven Island Dressing 9cm x 15cm - Aero (20)

The Aero non-woven island dressing is a sterile, single-use dressing measuring 9cm x 15cm, supplied in a box of 20. The 9cm x 15cm size suits larger grazes, abrasions and sutured wounds where a generous pad and a wide adhesive border are needed to hold the dressing in place. It pairs an absorbent island pad with a non-adherent contact layer so the pad lifts away cleanly at the next change.

• SupaSorb absorbent pad to take up blood and wound exudate
• Non-adherent contact layer over the pad to reduce sticking to the wound bed
• SupaBond adhesive border on a soft, conformable non-woven backing
• Breathable, water-repellent non-woven barrier
• Individually sterile and intended for single use
• Latex-free

How it is used

An island dressing carries the pad in the centre with adhesive all the way around, so it is applied in one step without separate tape. The 9cm x 15cm pad gives more coverage than the 9cm x 10cm and 6cm x 8cm sizes in the range, which suit smaller wounds.
