The AEROPAD non-adherent dressing 5cm x 5cm is a sterile absorbent pad from Aero Healthcare, supplied in a box of 50. It pairs an absorbent inner core with a low-adhesion film on both sides, so the pad lifts away cleanly at a dressing change instead of pulling at the wound bed. The 5cm x 5cm size suits smaller cuts, grazes and minor burns.

A non-adherent dressing is used as the layer that sits directly against the wound. The low-adhesion contact film reduces sticking, which makes removal more comfortable and limits disturbance to new tissue, while the absorbent core takes up exudate from weeping or bleeding wounds. For wounds with heavier drainage, the pad is often used under a secondary absorbent layer and held in place with tape or a bandage.
