The AeroPad Non-Adherent Dressing is a 10cm x 10cm wound dressing with a dual-sided non-adherent contact layer, so it lifts away from the wound bed without pulling at new tissue on removal. A cushioned, low-lint inner core absorbs fluid from weeping or bleeding wounds, which makes it a common choice for grazes, minor burns and post-surgical wounds. This box holds 50 dressings, each sealed in its own pouch.

When a non-adherent dressing is used

Non-adherent dressings suit wounds that are healing and need a low-trauma cover, such as grazes, skin tears, minor burns and post-surgical sites. The non-stick faces are a physical property of the contact layer, not a treatment claim: they reduce the chance of the dressing bonding to the wound, which keeps removal more comfortable. For deeper or heavily exuding wounds, pair it with an absorbent secondary layer from our combine dressing range.
