MoliCare Premium Fixpants Long Leg

Fixation pants are the other half of a two-piece continence system. The pad absorbs, and these hold it securely in place through the day. MoliCare Premium Fixpants Long Leg are washable and unisex, and Hartmann describes them as giving safe and hygienic fixation of all types of incontinence pads.

These come in two leg lengths and this is the long leg, which Hartmann describes as giving extra support and coverage. Both exist to suit different body shapes and personal preferences.

Hartmann pairs them with its own shaped pads, so the MoliCare Premium Form pad is the usual partner, and we stock both, so you can order them together. They are a fixation aid rather than an absorbent product, so they are always worn with a pad, which is bought separately.

Light, breathable fabric, cross-elasticated threads and a soft, skin-friendly waistband hold a close fit, and MoliCare describes them as pants that look and feel like underwear.

Sizing

Measure at the widest point between waist and hips, not by clothing size. Hartmann colour-codes each size on the waistband, so the right one is easy to spot.

• Small: waist/hip 45cm to 80cm (yellow)
• Medium: waist/hip 60cm to 100cm (blue)
• Large: waist/hip 80cm to 120cm (brown)
• Extra Large: waist/hip 100cm to 160cm (green)
• Extra Extra Large: waist/hip 140cm to 180cm (grey)

Washing and reuse

These are reusable, not disposable. Hartmann states:

• Washable at 60 degrees Celsius
• Tumble dry on low heat
• Up to 50 washes without losing elasticity or softness
• Wash in a laundry net

Keep a few pairs in rotation so there's always a dry pair ready.
