Mepilex Border Ag Silver Dressing

Mepilex Border Ag is an all-in-one antimicrobial silicone foam dressing made by Molnlycke. It combines a silver sulphate foam pad with a self-adherent Safetac silicone contact layer and a bordered adhesive edge, so the dressing stays in place without taping. It suits wounds with low to moderate exudate where an antimicrobial dressing is indicated, such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure injuries and partial-thickness burns.

The Safetac silicone layer is designed to adhere gently to intact skin around the wound and lift cleanly at a dressing change, which helps keep the change comfortable and protects the surrounding skin. The foam pad manages exudate and the bordered film backing gives a secure, flexible fit that moves with the body. Depending on the wound and its exudate, the dressing can be left in place for up to seven days, following the instructions for use.

Mepilex Border Ag comes in a range of sizes to fit different wound sites, and is supplied as a single dressing or a box of five.
