Melolin Wound Dressing Roll 50cm x 7m (1)

The Smith & Nephew Melolin dressing is a low-adherent absorbent dressing supplied here as a continuous 50cm x 7m roll, so you cut the exact length and shape each wound needs from one pack. The absorbent pad is faced on one side with a perforated film that lets fluid pass through into the pad while staying low-adherent against the wound surface.

Melolin is used for the management of cuts, grazes, minor burns and stitches, and suits wounds with a light to moderate amount of wound fluid (exudate). It is an alternative to plain gauze where you want an absorbent dressing that lifts away cleanly. Cut a length, place the film side to the wound, and secure with a retention tape or bandage.

The roll format is the practical choice for clinics, workplaces and households that dress a range of wound sizes and do not want to hold multiple boxes of pre-cut sizes. One 50cm x 7m roll is supplied.
