The La Petite is a spacer that holds the aerosol dose from a metered-dose inhaler so it can be breathed in slowly, rather than in one fast puff. The compact 220ml chamber is made from durable polypropylene that is recyclable where your local council accepts it, and it is suitable for all ages.

The chamber is anti-static, so minimum medication adheres to the walls. The anti-static property comes from particles embedded in the plastic, which means it cannot be scratched or washed off. A universal inhaler fitting takes standard metered-dose inhalers (MDIs), and the round mouthpiece measures 15mm to 22mm.

To use, attach your inhaler to the universal fitting, place your lips around the mouthpiece (or fit a compatible mask over the nose and mouth), press the inhaler and breathe in and out normally. The La Petite is single-patient reusable, and the inhaler can be stored inside the chamber between uses. The chamber separates at the part line for cleaning. Wash the parts in warm water with dishwashing detergent, then allow them to air dry without rinsing or wiping, because wiping can rebuild static.
