Hypafix Tape 5cm x 10m Box (1)

Hypafix is a non-woven retention tape that holds dressings, cannulae and tubing securely in place. The 5cm x 10m width suits larger dressings and wide-area fixation. It is made from a white polyester fabric coated with a hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive on a quick-release backing paper.

The adhesive holds reliably even in the presence of moisture, and the fabric is conformable enough to shape around joints and awkward body contours without restricting movement. Hypafix is permeable to both air and moisture, which helps reduce the risk of skin maceration under the tape. It is also radiotransparent, so it does not need to be removed for radiotherapy or X-ray examinations.
