Hypafix Tape 2.5cm x 10m Box (1)

Hypafix is a self-adhesive, non-woven dressing retention tape for holding dressings, gauze, absorbent pads, cannulae and tubing securely in place. This box holds one roll, 2.5cm wide by 10m long, the narrower width that suits small dressings and fixing tubing and lines where a wide strip is more than you need. It is made from a white polyester fabric coated with a hypoallergenic adhesive on a quick-release backing paper.

The fabric is conformable, so it shapes around joints and awkward body contours, and it cuts cleanly to length with scissors. It is permeable to both air and moisture, which helps reduce the risk of skin maceration under the tape. Hypafix is also radiotransparent, so it does not need to be removed for radiotherapy or X-ray examinations.
