Hypafix Tape 10cm x 10m Box (1)

Hypafix is a non-woven dressing retention tape that holds dressings, cannulae and tubing securely in place. This size is a single 10cm x 10m roll, supplied one roll to a box. The wide format suits larger dressings and broad areas of skin, and the soft fabric backing trims and cuts to size so you can match the strip to the area you need to cover.

The tape is made from a white polyester non-woven material coated with a hypoallergenic adhesive on a quick-release backing paper. It is highly conformable, so it shapes around joints and contoured areas and lets the wearer keep moving. It is permeable to both air and moisture, which helps reduce the risk of skin maceration under the tape.

Hypafix is radiotransparent, so it does not have to be removed for either radiotherapy or X-ray examinations. It is designed for secure, longer-wear fixation and trims cleanly to size when you cut it to fit.
