The AEROCOOL Reusable Gel Hot & Cold Pack is a single gel pack you can use warm or cold, so one item covers both ends of soft-tissue first aid. It measures 13cm x 28cm and comes with a soft towelling cover, and the heavy-duty canvas exterior is built to be used again and again rather than thrown away after one use. It suits a home or workplace kit as well as a sports or outdoor first aid kit.

Using it warm or cold

Cold packs are one part of the rest, ice, compression and elevation (RICE) approach commonly used for acute soft-tissue injuries such as sprains and knocks. For cold use, chill the pack in the freezer and apply it over the towelling cover to the affected area; do not apply the pack to the skin straight from the freezer. For warm use, the gel can be prepared with hot water or a microwave per the directions on the pack.
