Commercial kitchens and food service deal with burns and scalds more than almost any other workplace, so a dedicated burn module sitting beside the main kit is a sensible add for any cafe, restaurant or canteen. This all-in-one pack treats a burn fast, with burn gel sachets, burn gel dressings, a cooling spray and non-adherent dressings in a resealable bag that fits inside most standard first aid kits.
The module carries ten 3.5g burn gel sachets for quick application to small burns, two 10cm x 10cm burn gel dressings for larger areas, a 50ml burn spray and an instant cooling spray for immediate relief, plus non-adherent dressings and micropore tape to cover and secure. A burn first aid card sets out the steps clearly.
It comes in a resealable plastic bag, compact enough to fit inside most standard first aid kits, so kitchen staff have burn treatment in the same place they already look for first aid. The format suits a busy service environment where a burn needs treating without leaving the line for long.
We design and assemble this module in-house in Bendigo, and FAD stocks the burn gel and dressings to refill it through the same account that supplies the venue's main kit. Family-owned since 2011, with phone advice on 03 5443 2239, FAD makes keeping a hospitality kit current a single ordering job, which a generic marketplace pack does not.

Usage
Cool the burn under cool running water for 20 minutes first, then apply a burn gel sachet or dressing, using the cooling spray for immediate relief where water is not at hand. Cover with a non-adherent dressing and secure with the tape. Keep the module inside or beside the main kitchen first aid kit and refill it as part of the venue's regular kit check.
Care and storage
Store the bag with the main first aid kit, out of direct heat. Replace used sachets, dressings and any expired items so the module is ready for the next service.
Common questions
Is this a standalone kit? No. It is a burn module that adds burn treatment to a venue's existing first aid kit.
Why a hospitality version? It is sized and stocked for the frequent small burns and scalds common in food service, with sachets and a cooling spray for fast treatment on the line.
How do I refill it? Order the burn gel sachets, dressings and spray through FAD in the one account.
