HeartSine Samaritan Defibrillator PAD500P (1)

The HeartSine Samaritan PAD500P is a semi-automatic defibrillator (AED) built for public access and workplace use, where a rescuer needs a device that is quick to pick up and simple to follow. It reads the patient's heart rhythm, advises whether a shock is needed, and delivers that shock at the press of a button. A stand-out feature of the 500P is its CPR Advisor, which coaches the rescuer through chest compressions in real time.

Real-time CPR feedback

The CPR Advisor gives real-time visual and verbal feedback on the rate and force of your chest compressions. It prompts you to push harder or ease off, and confirms when your compressions are in the effective range. HeartSine states this works without an accelerometer, so there is no extra sensor to place, and it keeps the rescuer focused on the patient rather than second-guessing technique.

Shock delivery built around the patient

The 500P uses HeartSine's SCOPE biphasic escalating waveform, which compensates the energy, slope and duration of each shock for the patient's impedance rather than delivering a single fixed dose to everyone. With a standard Pad-Pak fitted, energy escalates across shocks at 150J, 150J, then 200J; a Pediatric-Pak delivers a lower 50J for children. The single Pad-Pak cartridge combines the battery and electrodes in one unit with a four-year standby life from the date of manufacture, so there is only one part to check and replace.

Ready when you need it

The 500P is compact, carries an IP56 rating for dust and water resistance, and operates across 0°C to 50°C. It is backed by an 8-year limited warranty, and one defibrillator unit is supplied.
