The dust-proof, water-resistant case with a neoprene seal is the whole point of the Marine Small: it keeps the contents dry and clean in spray, wet bilges, and salt air where a fabric kit would soak through. A quick-release wall bracket lets you pull it off the bracket and take it where the injury is, then clip it back.

The case measures 20cm x 20cm x 12cm and folds open for fast access. Inside, the contents handle the cuts, abrasions, and minor injuries common on the water: a basic dressing pack, a combine dressing, non-adherent dressings, conforming and crepe bandages, saline eye and wound wash, an emergency thermal blanket, and a CPR face shield. A printed contents sheet keeps auditing and restocking simple between trips.

This kit suits recreational watercraft, boats, wet work areas, and any vehicle where moisture is a problem. It's a starter-level marine kit; larger vessels or longer offshore trips usually need more, and FAD stocks the bigger marine kits and the individual refills in the same account.

We design and assemble the kit in-house in Bendigo to meet Australian first aid kit requirements, and it ships from our East Bendigo warehouse and Sydney fulfilment centre. The team on 03 5443 2239 can help you match a kit to your vessel and how far offshore you go.

Usage

Mount the bracket somewhere reachable from the helm or cabin and keep the case clipped in so it doesn't shift underway. Check the contents against the sheet before the season and every six months, replacing anything used or past its expiry. Salt and damp shorten the life of dressings, so inspect the seal stays clean.

Care and storage

Rinse salt off the outside of the case and keep the neoprene seal clean so it keeps sealing. Store out of direct sun and replace consumables at the six-monthly check.

Common questions

Is the case fully waterproof? It's dust-proof and water-resistant with a neoprene seal, built to keep contents dry in spray and wet areas. Submersion is not its purpose.

Is this enough for offshore boating? It's a starter marine kit. Larger vessels and longer offshore trips usually need a bigger kit; ask the team to match a kit to your trip.

Can I take it off the wall? Yes, the quick-release bracket lets you grab the case and take it to the injury, then clip it back.
