Explorer Pack: Adventure First Aid Kit

The Explorer Pack is built for the outdoors where help is hours away and the injuries run from blisters to a serious bleed. It carries a trauma and haemorrhage control dressing, a snake bite bandage with a compression indicator, a foam aluminium splint, and universal shears alongside a full wound-care spread, in a blue soft case sized 36cm x 18cm x 12cm with a detachable shoulder strap.

The contents go well past a day-walk kit. You get wound dressings in sizes 13, 14, and 15, multiple non-adherent dressings, conforming and crepe bandages, burn gel, saline, an eye wash bath, a foam aluminium splint for fractures, a glow stick and torch, a whistle, and SPF50+ sunscreen. The trauma and haemorrhage control dressing and the snake bite bandage are the items that matter when an outdoor injury turns serious.

This kit suits hunting, fishing, wilderness travel, and remote-area work, anywhere you carry your own response. It is designed by our in-house team for use in higher-risk environments. We design and assemble the kit in-house in Bendigo to meet Australian first aid kit requirements, and it ships from our East Bendigo warehouse and Sydney fulfilment centre. Usage

Carry the kit where it's reachable and make sure your group knows where it is and how the trauma dressing and snake bite bandage work, because both are time-critical. Check the contents against the sheet before each trip and every six months, replacing anything used or expired, and confirm the torch and glow stick are still good.

Care and storage

Keep the case out of direct heat and dry between trips. Replace the snake bite bandage, trauma dressing, sunscreen, and any expired items at the six-monthly check so the kit stays ready.
