The Disposable Cardboard Asthma Spacer is a single-patient-use holding chamber that fits onto a metered-dose inhaler. It holds the puff of medicine inside the chamber so it can be breathed in over a few slow breaths, rather than having to press the inhaler and breathe in at exactly the same moment. It arrives flat, pops up for use, and folds down again for storage.

The chamber is made from collapsible cardboard and contains no natural latex. It is labelled for one week of use and is intended for a single person: replace it after a week of regular use, or sooner if it is crushed or soggy. It suits ambulance and emergency use, outpatient clinics, pulmonary function testing, short-term respiratory infections, and first aid kits for schools, camps and workplaces.
