Cohesive Bandage 10cm x 4.7m (1)

The Bare Medical cohesive bandage sticks to itself and not to skin or hair, so it holds a dressing, cold pack or padding in place without pins or clips. This is the 10cm width, the widest in the range. One bandage is supplied, and you choose tan or coloured at checkout.

Colours

This bandage comes in two options, chosen at checkout. Tan is a single skin-tone roll. Coloured is a roll from the Bare Medical colour pack, where the colour is selected at random and may vary from the images shown. If you need a particular colour, call us on 03 5443 2239 before ordering and we will check what is on the shelf.

Where it gets used

Common uses are retaining a dressing, securing a cold pack, and holding a brace or padding against a joint or limb. Wrap up the limb so each turn overlaps the one before.

Better Health Channel advises making sure a bandage is not too tight, so blood flow to the hands and feet is not reduced, and to press a fingernail or toenail on the wrapped limb: if the pink colour returns within a couple of seconds, the bandage is not affecting circulation. If the nail stays white, take the bandage off and rewrap it more loosely. Keep checking the bandage, especially if swelling is a problem.
