Burn Gel Tube - Aero (1)

The Aero Burn Gel tube is a water-based hydrogel that sits over the affected area and holds water against the skin, which cools the site. It is a handy item to keep in a burn first aid kit at home, in the car, or at work.

The tube comes in 25g and 50g sizes, with one tube supplied per pack. The 25g tube suits a single kit or the glovebox; the 50g tube suits a household or workplace kit that gets more use.

Australian first aid guidance for burns (ANZCOR 9.1.3) is to cool the area with cool running water for at least 20 minutes, ideally within three hours of the burn, then cover it. Do not use ice.
