The Aero Healthcare AeroBURN Burn Gel Dressing is a sterile, single-use hydrogel dressing for the first aid treatment of minor burns. At 60cm x 40cm it covers a larger area, which suits burns across a limb or a wider patch of skin. Keep one in the home, vehicle, workplace or outdoor kit so it is on hand when a minor burn happens.

The dressing is a non-woven fabric impregnated with a hydrogel that is around 95% water. In first aid use it cools the burn and helps soothe pain, and it acts as a mechanical barrier to help protect the wound from contamination. It can also absorb fluid from wounds that are minimally to moderately exudative. The dressing is low-adherent, so it supports gentle removal.

Each dressing is supplied sterile, sealed in an easy-open pouch, and sterilised by gamma irradiation. It is a single-use device for external use only. The instructions for use supplied with the product cover how to apply and change it. If the burn does not improve, seek medical advice. For serious or deep burns, burns to the face, hands, feet or genitals, or any burn larger than the dressing can cover, seek medical care and call triple zero if needed.
