Bodyassist MCP Dual Splint Thumb Brace - One Size

The Body Assist MCP dual splint is a one-size thumb brace with a bendable aluminium stay that runs along the outside of the thumb to steady the base of the thumb while leaving the fingers free to move. That suits UCL (ulnar collateral ligament) strains, the injury behind skier's thumb, along with overuse of the thumb and wrist. The bendable stay and the adjustable thumb wrap and wrist strap give a one-size-fits-most fit that can be shaped for either hand. The Airprene body breathes and the Coolmax lining wicks moisture, so it stays comfortable over longer wear.

How to fit

• Adjust the thumb wrap at the top, the narrowest part of the brace, to fit your thumb comfortably. You can adjust it several times until the fit is right.
• Insert your thumb through the brace and into the closed thumb segment.
• Position the splint so it runs centrally along the outside of the thumb and ends at the wrist.
• Thread the wrist strap through the buckle and back on itself to close it firmly, then adjust for comfort.
• Do not fasten it so tightly that it restricts circulation. You should feel support and stability along the outside of the thumb.

Care

• Hand wash in warm water with a mild detergent.
• Do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean.
• Hang to air-dry in a well ventilated area.

• Unless otherwise specified, this product contains rubber and latex. Anyone with a rubber or latex allergy should not use it.
