The Bard Biocath is a two-way indwelling Foley catheter for male use, 40cm long, held in place by a 10mL retention balloon. A smooth hydrogel coating over the latex catheter is designed for a gentle, comfortable passage on insertion and removal.

It suits both urethral and suprapubic use and can remain in situ for up to 12 weeks, so it covers short-term and longer-term catheterisation. Each catheter arrives sterile in single-use packaging, with a drainage funnel and a colour-coded valve for inflating the retention balloon.
