Little Baby QCPR Training Manikin - Laerdal

Little Baby QCPR is a Laerdal infant CPR training manikin with QCPR sensors, Laerdal's real-time CPR feedback, which measure each compression and breath as learners practise. It suits schools, first aid trainers and workplaces running infant CPR sessions, and comes as a single manikin or a 4 Pack.

What the QCPR feedback measures

Sensors in the manikin read compression rate, depth and release, and ventilation rate and count. The manikin connects by Bluetooth to the QCPR apps, or a SkillGuide device plugs into a port on the manikin, so learners and instructors can see how each cycle went. The smart device that runs the app and the SkillGuide are not in the box, so plan for one before your first session. AA batteries for the manikin are included.

Practising infant technique

• Compressions and breaths have a lifelike feel, and the chest rises when a breath goes in properly, so learners can tell a good breath from a weak one
• Learners can rehearse both the head tilt and the jaw thrust to open an infant airway
• Tip the head too far back or not far enough and the airway closes, so learners find out straight away whether their positioning works
• Choking drills are covered too: learners practise back blows for a foreign-body airway obstruction, and the QCPR app adds an audible cry

Choosing the 1 Pack or the 4 Pack

The 1 Pack suits a single learner station, or a trainer adding infant CPR to an existing kit. The 4 Pack puts four manikins on the floor at once for a class working in small groups, with six spare airway lungs and one larger carry case for the set.
