Atrauman Silicone is a single-use silicone wound contact layer for superficial, acute and chronic wounds with slight to moderate exudate. It is intended for use by healthcare professionals as the primary layer against the wound bed, worn under an absorbent secondary dressing.

The contact layer is permeable to exudate, so fluid passes through to the secondary dressing rather than pooling at the wound. It can also be used with the Vivano negative pressure therapy system, or applied as a protective layer over non-exuding wounds and areas of sensitive skin.
