Burn Gel
In a kitchen, a workshop or on a worksite, a minor burn needs cooling first and soothing second. Burn gel is a water-based hydrogel that cools and soothes minor thermal burns after the area has been held under cool running water, and helps keep the surface clean and comfortable until it settles.
FAD stocks Burn Gel from Aero in single-use 3.5g sachets, sized for a first aid kit or a glovebox, and in a larger tube for a workplace first aid room or clinic where burns are treated more often. Burn gel is for minor thermal burns.
For a larger or weeping burn that needs covering, the burn dressing range gives hydrogel sheets, and burn spray is a no-touch option for tender skin.
