Introducing Comfort First: Our Continence Care Brand
Comfort First is our own continence care brand. We built it because we kept hearing the same thing from the NDIS participants, carers and aged care teams we already supply: good continence products were either hard to find, awkward to reorder, or sold by people who treated them as just another line item. After years supplying first aid and medical products across Australia, we knew we could do that part better.
First Aid Distributions has been Australian owned and run since 2011, and we have supplied NDIS participants and their carers for much of that time. Continence care sits right next to the daily living and wound care supplies we already handle every day. Comfort First lets us give it proper focus, with a dedicated range, clear sizing, and people on the phone who actually know the products.
What Comfort First covers
The range covers the essentials for daily continence care. That includes pull-up pants, all-in-one wrap-around briefs, and booster pad inserts for extra absorbency when you need it. It also includes underpads and bed mats to protect beds and chairs, plus body wipes for everyday cleaning, and a baby wipe for households juggling more than one kind of care.
Underpads come in regular and small pack sizes, and the bed mats in larger cartons for higher use. If you already order from us, nothing about your account changes. One login, one order, one invoice, across first aid, continence and everything else in the range. You can browse the Comfort First range on its own, or go straight to pads and pants if that's what you came for.
Size and absorbency
Fit matters more than brand with continence products, and it's worth getting right from the start. For pull-up pants and wrap-arounds, size by waist and hip measurement rather than clothing size, and check the measurement guide on each product page before you order. If you're between sizes, the snugger option usually holds better.
Absorbency is the next choice. Lighter day products suit active use and quick changes, while higher-absorbency options and overnight wear reduce night-time disruption. A booster pad inside a pull-up or wrap-around adds capacity for longer stretches without moving up a full size. There's more on our pull-up pants range if you want to read about them first.
Even with the guide, the first size is sometimes a near miss. Order the wrong size and we'll replace it. No returns to package up, no forms to fill in, no argument. To find the right fit before committing to a full carton, you can request a free sample pack of pull-up pants and wrap-arounds.
Funding and support
Comfort First products can be supplied under the common funding arrangements, including NDIS plans, Home Care Packages and DVA. If you're a support coordinator or plan manager ordering for a participant, we can set the account up so reordering stays simple. There's a full rundown of how ordering works through an NDIS plan, and you can find the wider picture on our NDIS support page.
You can also just call us. The team is in East Bendigo on 03 5443 2239, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and they can talk through sizing, absorbency and what suits a particular situation.
Delivery and reordering
Orders ship from our East Bendigo warehouse and our Sydney fulfilment centre, with free shipping on orders over $139. Continence supplies are easy to underestimate, so it's worth setting a regular reorder before you run low. Tell us your usual run rate and we'll line up repeat orders so the right products arrive on time, without the last-minute scramble. If a delivery date needs to move or a size needs to change, a quick call or email sorts it.
Who Comfort First is for
Comfort First continence care suits people managing continence at home, the families and carers supporting them, and aged care and disability services ordering in volume. Carers carry a lot, and reordering supplies shouldn't add to it. We keep your sizes and products on file so a repeat order takes a minute, and we're on the phone if anything needs to change.
Where to buy
You can shop the full Comfort First range through First Aid Distributions, alongside everything else you order from us. Comfort First also has its own dedicated site at comfortfirst.au if you'd rather browse the brand on its own.
Continence care should be straightforward, private and reliable. That's what we built Comfort First to be. Browse the range, request a sample pack, or call the team and we'll help you get the fit right the first time.
