Negative Pressure Dressing
Avelle is a single-use negative pressure wound therapy system that applies gentle suction across the wound to draw out fluid and support closure. It brings NPWT, normally a hospital-bound therapy, into a portable canister-free format.
Negative pressure dressings suit chronic, surgical or slow-healing wounds managed under clinical direction. The system pairs the Avelle pump with the Avelle dressing, which seals the wound and carries exudate away, worn discreetly under clothing and changed on a set schedule. This is specialist therapy, so it should be set up and reviewed by a treating clinician, with sizing and wear time guided by the wound and the care plan. Where NPWT is not indicated, advanced absorbent options such as hydrofiber dressings manage exudate without suction.
