ACTISORB Plus 25 Dressing is an activated charcoal dressing with silver, enclosed in a non-adherent nylon sleeve. Traps odour while providing an effective barrier to bacterial penetration, which may help reduce infection.

ACTISORB + 25 is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms associated with wound infection, including antibiotic resistant strains (MRSA and VRE). 

By eliminating offensive odours ACTISORB Plus 25 leads to an improvement in quality of life for the patient and nursing personnel. As malodour might be accompanied by wound fluids, ACTISORB Plus 25 is able to manage exudate and helps maintain a moist wound healing environment.
