It’s wise to purchase an extra set of HeartStart Smart FRx pads for your defibrillator so that you can keep it ready in case of an emergency. These pads are very versatile enough and can be used by adults, infants, and children. This gets rid of the expense of having to acquire different sets of pads for different patients. These pre-connected pads are wrapped in a semi-rigid pad case for extra protection and come with a HeartStart compatible plug. The plug facilitates easy hand-off to other defibrillators, that are fitted with adapters.
